Alex is a student lighting designer and programmer living near London in the UK. He has worked and designed for many styles of lighting projects including Theatre, Opera, Music, Dance, Exhibitions and Instrumental.

Recently he has designed an example model of a truss architecture and lighting rig for a large UK tour this year featuring a spectacular light and laser show set to numbers played by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.  He has also assisted the LX crew for the London Eye New Year's Light and Firework Show at midnight on the River Thames - An event broadcast live by the BBC, as well as at Wembley for the Dancing on Ice  2009 UK Tour.

Alex takes a very professional yet enthusiastic view on lighting design - believing that enjoying it is the key to having the creative flair, and then the follow through to make the vison a reality! He is also very keen to learn and thinks it is important to get up-to-date hands on experience since theory only gets you so far!
