There is a Mac2000 in every pod on the eye, many Vari-Lite VL5 Arcs on the pontoon, 16 BigLites on the pontoon, and 10 Syncrolite searchlights at the back of the eye (see above on the right)

Durham Marenghi and Associate Paul Cook created the wheel's lighting and its integration with the fireworks display. Each cue was perfectly syncronised with the fireworks - looking spectacular
