31st December - Arrived in Lonon at 4pm before the crowd stared to gather. I started off going across the river to the eye itself - security was massive (as it should be), I met the crew and had a look around. I then helped the guys from Syncrolite rig the 10kW Searchlights at the back of the eye. I then went over to the opposite side of the river into our sheltered tent ready for the performance. On the night I was joined by Durham, Jim (the Producer), Christophe (the Firework Designer), and a BBC coordinator. It went brilliantly!!
30th December - Went down to London yesterday to work on the London Eye Light and Fireworks show on New Years Eve at Midnight! - I got there at 6pm and helped programmer Paul Cook set up and check the control equipment. The London Eye closed to the public at 8pm, when the riggers put the lights in the pods. Paul and LD Durham Marenghi then went through all the lighting states to prepare for New Years Eve
6th December - Finished the final show of Seven Brides tonight - good audience. Relieved!
28th November - In Buckinghamshire, finished the design and programming for a Christmas production of Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.
24th November - Back from London, have learned loads!! This has been the biggest experience of my life!
20th November 2008 - Up in London at the Royal Albert Hall working with Durham Marenghi, a top Lighting Designer. I have also met Tim Routledge, a very skilled programmer. They have both been realy helpful and I have learned loads.
